Hawthorne Valley Farm is a 400-acre Biodynamic and organic farm in Ghent, NY. We have 60 dairy cows whose delicious milk goes into our farmstead yogurts and cheeses. We grow a diversity of vegetable crops for our farmer’s markets, sauerkraut cellar and especially for our CSA program. The farm also grows wheat, rye, and other grains, most of which goes to our farmstead bakery. We partner with local, organic growers to bring our CSA members fruit throughout the summer, as well as hardy, cold-weather crops through the winter season.
Hawthorne Valley Farm is part of the Hawthorne Valley Association, a diverse not-for-profit committed to social and cultural renewal through the integration of education, agriculture, and the arts.
